Anna Hovey is President & CEO of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. Originally, from Auburn, AL, Anna graduated from Auburn University in 2001 with a degree in Apparel Merchandising, Design and Production. Her past work experience includes varied positions in retail and special events, and several years in development for Auburn University. She joined the Chamber staff in 2015, earned the IOM designation from the US Chamber Institute of Organization Management in 2019, and took the lead role in 2021. She serves on the Auburn- Opelika Tourism Board, Boards of Leadership Lee County and Lee County Young Leaders, and Auburn’s Industrial Development Board. Currently, she holds the position of Vice Chair of Finance for the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama, serves on the Auburn City Schools Advisory councils for Work Based Learning and Career and Technical programs, and volunteers for her church, Providence Baptist, where she and her husband, Jay, were married in 2001.
