What is Dolly Parton's Imagination Library? 

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is the flagship program of The Dollywood Foundation. It reaches more children than any other early childhood book gifting program, and mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five, no matter their family’s income.

Who is eligible? 

Children under the age of five (5) in Lee County. 

How do I sign up? 

Simply fill out the online registration form to sign your child up for the program. 

 How can I help? 

We have multiple scholarship options available for those who wish to give the gift of reading to a child: QR code to donate to the United Way through Venmo

  • Bookworm – Sponsor one child for one year, $30
  • Reading Hero – Sponsor five kids for one year, $150
  • Literacy Champion – Sponsor ten kids for one year, $300
  • Story Teller – Custom amount

How to submit my donation:

  1. You can pay by credit, debit or Apple Pay by filling out the donate form.
  2. You can mail cash or a check to our office at 2133 Executive Park Drive, Opelika, AL 36801. Please make any checks out to "United Way of Lee County."
  3. You can Venmo your donation to us.
