April Herring is proud to serve as the Treasurer for the United Way of Lee County. It’s a privilege to contribute to an organization that supports our local communities in such meaningful and lasting ways. Professionally, she brings over 30 years of banking experience to the role, currently serving as Senior Vice President of the Mortgage Division at AuburnBank, a position she’s held for the past five years.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve on numerous boards, committees and organizations that align with my passion for service. I currently serve as Vice President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama, where I also previously held the role of Treasurer. Additionally, I’m proud to be a board member for the Domestic Violence Intervention Center for Lee County, an organization close to my heart.
A resident of Lee County for the past 27 years, April and her husband Bryan have raised four children and now enjoy life as empty nesters with their three dogs and one cat. Her dedication to community, family, and financial stewardship continues to drive her work both professionally and in service to others.
