Opelika Chamber of Commerce

Mackenzie is the Vice President of the Opelika Chamber. Originally from Roswell, Georgia, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management and a Master's in Public Administration from Troy University. She previously worked for the City of Troy in the Community Engagement & Special Projects Department as well as Troy University's Student Involvement Office until she began her role at the Opelika Chamber in 2019 as the Manager of Programs and Events. Mackenzie is a graduate of the 20 Under 40 Program and Leadership Lee County as well as recently completed her IOM designation through the US Chamber of Commerce. She coordinates over 250 events and programs annually for the Opelika Chamber and is the staff lead of the 20 Under 40, Lee County Young Professionals, Opelika Young Professionals, REACH Campaign, and all program related committees. She loves to travel, listen to live music, and attend community events throughout Lee County.
