Tipi Miller was raised in Lee County and has been in the non-profit world for 24 years. After graduating from Auburn University in Supply Chain Management, Tipi worked at United Way of Central Alabama for 4 years. Upon returning to the Auburn/Opelika area, Tipi began working for the Opelika Chamber of Commerce as Membership Director. In 2009, Tipi was hired as Executive Director of Keep Opelika Beautiful. For 13 years, Tipi loved working with volunteers to develop community gardens, school gardens and encourage students to be good stewards of the environment. In 2022, she was named Executive Director of United Way of Lee County. Tipi’s favorite part of her job is connecting clients with community resources and programs. Tipi is a member of the Opelika Board of Education, Opelika Rotary Club and Opelika Zoning Board of Adjustments.
