The Lee County Chapter aids individuals in our community based on need without discrimination for medical and health needs. The Chapter also serves as a resource that collaborates with our community social service agencies to assist with special needs as presented on an individual basis. The Achievement Center provides vocational development services and extended employment programs for individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities and for persons without disabilities who are culturally, socially, or economically disadvantaged.

The Alabama Head Injury Foundation (AHIF) operates statewide, assisting survivors of traumatic brain injury and their families in achieving the highest possible level of independent living. Most clients have severe injuries, often requiring round-the-clock care from a family member. AHIF offers a range of primary services, including support groups, camp experiences, financial counseling, housing assistance, home modifications, and respite care for caregivers.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering during emergencies by harnessing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The Child Advocacy Center supports healing and justice for abused and neglected children in Lee and Macon counties. The Child Advocacy Center offers a child-friendly environment where children feel safe and empowered to share their stories. It provides core services to children and non-offending family members, including forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, therapy, family advocacy, court accompaniment, and parent support groups.

The Community Market addresses hunger in our community by providing access to available food resources. Established in January 2003, it operates as an extension of the Food Bank of East Alabama, delivering direct food relief to low-income residents of Lee County.
