Ray

Teacher's Name: Hannah Ray

School Name: East Smiths Station Elementary School

Grade Taught: 1st

Project Title: Classroom Rug!

Project Description: I teach first grade and we sit on our classroom rug many times throughout the day. The rug I have now was given to me and I am in desperate need for a new one. It is very thick, so it gets nasty easily. I cleaned it with a carpet cleaner over this last summer and I came back in August and it had held so much water that my room smelled very bad. It was very hard to clean and I don’t know if I can do it again. I would like a large thinner rug to fit all of my students that will be easy to clean and vacuum. Classroom rugs can be very expensive and I am starting my family, so I don’t know if I can afford one with a new baby soon.
